Certificates of Arrival, 10/1913 - 10/1920

10/1913 - 10/1920

This series consists of forms required for naturalization of aliens who arrived in the United States after June 29, 1906. Each numbered certificate shows the name of the alien, port of entry (in this case, mostly Ellis Island, New York City), date of arrival, name of vessel, and name of steamship line. Most of the certificates are accompanied by copies of declarations of intention and forms entitled "Facts for Petition for Naturalization". Although these documents were submitted presumably in support of naturalization petitions, there is no record that any of the 45 individuals were subsequently naturalized in this court.
